Duke Clinic
More than 800,000 patients a year visit Duke Clinic, which houses the majority of professional medical services provided by Duke faculty physicians. The clinic complex is also home to Medical School administrative offices and classrooms, including the Medical Student Amphitheater. The south end of Duke Clinic opens onto the West Quad of Duke University, while the north end faces a walkway to the Medical Center Library and Duke Hospital. The Patient Rapid Transport (PRT), an air-cushion vehicle, shuttles people between the lower levels of the Clinic and Hospital.
